Continuing its drive against persons involved in illegal extraction and transportation of minerals, Awantipora Police arrested 03 persons & seized 03 vehicles.
Police party from Police Station Khrew headed by SHO PS Khrew Inspector Syed Mubarak have arrested 03 persons namely:
1) Tariq Ahmad Shah s/o Mohd Yaseen Shah R/o Mandakpal
2) Mohd Ashraf Shah s/o Jalal din R/o Mandakpal
3) Nisar Ahmad Ahanger s/o Mohd Kamal R/o Sharshali and seized three vehicles(Tippers)bearing registration numbers JK 13B-8211, JK01M-5270 & JK-13F 4742 involved in illegal extraction of mineral in Mandakpal Khrew.
Accordingly, case vide FIR NOs. 106-107/2024 under relevant sections of law has been registered in Police Station Khrew and further investigation has been initiated.
Persons found indulging in illegal mining activities shall be dealt with as per law.
