Zone Boniyar witnessed the inauguration of a 15 days Mega Enrollment Drive, spearheaded by Cluster Head of HSS Boniyar, Mr. Showkat Ahmad Sheerwani, and Zonal Education Officer Boniyar, Mr. Abdul Rehman Lone. The event, which also saw the participation of Zonal Cultural Coordinator Mr. Bilal Ahmad Chack and Cluster Point Person Cluster Boniyar Mr. Mukhtar Ahmad Qureshi, commenced at Government Middle School Boniyar and Boys Middle School Boniyar.
During the event, some students were admitted on the spot, and both officers distributed admission confirmation letters to the new students. Teachers were urged to conduct door to door visits in their respective catchment areas, with a focus on enrolling out of school children, Children with Special Needs and new students.
The officers emphasized utilizing all available resources to enhance academic performance. The drive is expected to significantly boost enrollment and strengthen educational outreach in the Zone.
Both initiatives reflect the education department’s commitment to achieving higher enrollment and providing quality education to every child in Zone Boniyar.
