1989-batch IPS Parag Jain named new RAW chief

The Modi government on Saturday appointed Parag Jain, a 1989-batch IPS officer of the Punjab cadre, as the chief of the Research & Analysis Wing (RAW).

Jain will succeed Ravi Sinha, whose current term concludes on June 30.
