Helping Hands care Foundation J&K , A Non-Government Organization (NGO) organized a Blood Donation Camp on Thursday at Khomeini Chowk Bemina where the procession was carried out on the eve of Arbaeen marks the 40th day of Mourning for the martyr Imam Hussain (a.s) grandson of the Prophet Mohammed( PBUH) and his companions in Karbala .

The camp was inaugurated was by Incharge Grievance and Monitoring Cell BJP Kashmir Dr Rafi Ahmed, in presence of Nasir Hussain ,president of NGO Helping Hands Care Foundation J&K, Jassam Muzaffar Chairman of NGO Ali Asgar Blood Bank Care Foundation J&K , Medical superintendent Institute of Asian Medical Sciences Zakura Dr Basharat Saleem and Dr Javid Iqbal Khan Incharge Blood Bank Lal ded Hospital srinagar , along with a team of doctors and technicians from Lad Ded Hospital srinagar and the Volunteers of the said NGO.

A total of 202 blood points were collected throughout the day at the camp, which was organized in collaboration with Lal Ded Hospital Srinagar here.

Addressing the Doners and volunteers , Dr Rafi Incharge Grievance and Monitoring Cell BJP Kashmir congratulated them for coming forward to the noble cause of blood donation. “Every blood donor is a life saver and it brings self satisfaction to the donor as he provides a life saving component to the people in need. Besides, the regular donor’s health becomes good as well,” He also spoke about the importance of making blood banks which turn out to be assets of utmost importance in times of need.

Nasir Hussain, president of the NGO Helping Hands Care Foundation J&K and the organizer of this event said that as being a Human, we must Donate Blood to save others Life. Through Blood Donation, we can help various needy people and save their precious Life. Blood can be regenerated itself in the body and fulfil its amount and we appeals everyone to be a part of this Noble Cause as blood donation is a worthy cause , as it can save lives and make a difference in a community.

Nasir Hussain also said , that around 202 units of the Blood were collected so far and expressed gratitude to all the distinguished guests, Medical supritendent Lal Hospital Dr Muzaffar Hussain sherwani, Dupty Medical supritendent Dr Bilquees and dedicated staff members of Lal Ded Hospital srinagar, SDPO west Shah e Jahan , SHO Police Station Bemina Taseer Hameed khan, Anjumane e sharie Shian Darul Yousuf Budgam, print and Electronic Media , Volunteers of the NGO and the generous Blood Donors for Donating the Blood and participation, emphasizing the profound impact their contributions would have on saving lives..
