Iranian Health Minister Mohammad-Reza Zafarghandi has confirmed that 35 women and 10 children are among those killed in Israeli strikes on Iran, which began on June 13.
He stated that around 1,800 people have been injured so far, mostly civilians. The minister also said 12 people, including a pregnant woman, died following an explosion at Quds Square in northern Tehran that injured 59 others.
The Israeli attacks have targeted residential areas and key Iranian figures. Iran has since launched retaliatory strikes deep into Israeli territory, including Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, and Haifa.
