Chairman of the Jammu and Kashmir Bharatiya Janata Party, Senior Advocate Sunil Sethi, announced on Monday that the eight leaders who received notices for their unruly behavior have submitted an ‘unconditional apology’ for their actions and have provided assurance not to engage in similar activities in the future.
Adv. Sunil Sethi said that in response to notice issued to them, all the eight leaders have submitted their “unconditional apology” and have also given undertaking not to repeat such conduct and not indulge in anti-party activities or indiscipline.
The leaders who were issued notice include Dr Ali Mohd Mir, G M Mir, Altaf Thakur, Manzoor Ahmed Bhat, Arif Raja, Bilal Parray, Anwar Khan and Asif Masoodi .
Chairman of the BJP Disciplinary Committee, Advocate Sunil Sethi, expressed contentment with the apology. Considering their prior track record and contributions to the party, the disciplinary committee has appealed to the party President of J&K, Sh. Ravinder Raina, to conclude the proceedings against them. These leaders were previously required to honor their commitment, and non-compliance would result in severe action (TRK News)
