Boniyar, April 28, 2025 (Monday): A warm and emotional farewell party was organized at the residence of Mushtaq Ahmad Lone, Headmaster Govt. High School Banali, Kangroosa, Rafiabad, to celebrate his superannuation after an illustrious career dedicated to education.
The gathering witnessed an outpouring of respect and admiration for Mushtaq Ahmad Lone, whose hospitality left a lasting impression on all attendees.
Although my association with him lasted only two months at Govt. Girls Middle School Boniyar in 2024, those months were enough to reveal his remarkable humility, kindness and dedication. His sincerity towards duties, compassion for students and cooperative spirit among colleagues were deeply inspiring.
Known for his calm demeanour and leadership by example, Mushtaq Ahmad Lone earned widespread respect from both students and peers. His positive influence, even in a brief period, was profound.
Several teachers from Zone Boniyar attended the event, including Javid Iqbal Mir Master, Riyaz Ahmad Bhat Master, Irshad Ahmad Chack Master, Zulafqar Ahmad Khatana Master, Gulzar Ahmad Sheikh Teacher, Mukhtar Ahmad Qureshi Teacher, Mohammad Ashraf Teacher, Mohammad Latief Jinder Teacher, Javid Ahmad Jinder Teacher, Basharat Ahmad Mir Teacher, Altaf Ahmad Mir Teacher, Manzoor Ahmad Malik Teacher, Manzoor Ahmad Khatana Teacher, Manzoor Ahmad Khan Teacher, and Imran Ajaz Teacher.
Ghulam Mohi Ud Din Lone Master brother of Mushtaq Ahmad Lone presented a vote of thanks to all attendees. Mohammad Aslam Nambardar, Kangroosa praised Mushtaq Ahmad Lone’s contributions as both an educator and social worker, while Gulzar Ahmad Sheikh highlighted his unwavering dedication during his career.
Emotional farewell speeches were delivered by Mukhtar Ahmad Qureshi, Altaf Ahmad Mir, Imran Aijaz, Manzoor Ahmad Malik, Javid Iqbal Mir, and Basharat Ahmad Mir, all appreciating Mushtaq Ahmad Lone’s efforts in uplifting educational standards at Govt. High School Banali.
The heartfelt event stood as a testament to a life spent in service, sincerity, and inspiration.
