Kulgam, July 21: Jammu and Kashmir Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Monday have trapped and arrested a Patwari at Patwari Halqa Banimulla in south kashmiri’s Kulgam district.
Official sources said that the accused, identified as Mushtaq Ahmed Khatana, son of Mohammad Ayoob Khatana, a resident of Pachgamnard Kund, was caught red-handed by ACB sleuths while accepting a bribe Rs 1000, the demand was Rs 23000 related to cutting of walnut trees.
The trap was laid based on a complaint, and the operation was conducted swiftly by the ACB team.
