The senior leader of Awami Itihaad Party and Spokesperson Firdous Baba termed the India Pakistan ceasefire announced from tonight as a historic step towards peace and prosperity in the region.
He hailed the exemplary acumen shown by the Government of India in ensuring that situation returns back to normal.
Firdous Baba Said Pahalgam Massacre of innocent tourists had already shattered nation and humanity and the growing escalation between India and Pakistan had made situation worrisome with loss of precious lives .
He lauded the acumen of Central Government in ensuring that normalcy returns and apt steps against terrorism are taken .
He opined The ceasefire between India and Pakistan is great development, highly welcomed by masses.
Firdous Baba prayed that this step will prove as beginning of the end of all violence, negative things and terrorism and Jammu and Kashmir will emerge as oasis of progress .
He said Awami Itihaad party has always advocates dialogue for peace and prosperity.
