Union Home minister Amit shah is scheduled to visit Jammu and Kashmir on Friday to chair a security review meeting in Srinagar for the forthcoming Amarnath Yatra.

Amit Shah will first arrive in Jammu tomorrow to address a BJP rally before heading to Srinagar for a security review meeting.

Notably, this is Amit Shah’s second visit to Jammu and Kashmir this year. Earlier, he visited Rajouri, where 7 civilians were killed in a militant attack in Dhangri village of the district.

Meanwhile, BJP insiders told that Shah will address a massive rally in Jammu tomorrow to mark the death anniversary of Syama Prasad Mukhurjee, te founder of Bharatiya Jana Sangh.

Shah will then proceed to Srinagar to chair a security review meeting for the forthcoming Amarnath Yatra. (KNS)
