On the occasion of National Voters’ Day 2025, Anantnag Police organized Pledge Ceremonies across the district to promote awareness and reaffirm commitment to democratic principles.
The main ceremony was held at the District Police Office Anantnag, where SSP Anantnag, Shri Dr. G.V. Sundeep Chakravarthy, administered the Voters’ Pledge to officers and personnel of the district police. Similar ceremonies were conducted at other police establishments under the guidance of supervisory officers.
During the event, Participants pledged to uphold the democratic traditions of the country, maintain the dignity of free, fair, and peaceful elections, and vote in every election without fear or influence based on religion, race, caste, community, language, or inducement.
The event concluded with a collective reaffirmation of faith in democracy and a resolve to uphold the principles of the democratic process in both personal and professional capacities.
