In connection with “Drug Destruction Campaign Week” Police Awantipora destroyed Narcotic Drugs & Psychotropic Substances in accordance with Section 52A of the NDPS Act.
This consignment of Narcotic/Psychotropic Drugs were seized in 26 different NDPS Cases registered in different Police Stations of Police District Awantipore.
The process was carried out at Kashmir Health Care System, IGC Lassipora, adhering strictly to legal protocols and environmental safety standards.
During incineration, 90.720 Kgs Poppy straw, 23.260 Kgs Fukki, 50.315 Kgs Cannabis Powder, 201 Corex Bottles,101 Codeine bottles, 01 Wine bottle and 284 Grams of charas has been destroyed after following all legal requirements.
