Continuing its public outreach and youth engagement Police Awantipora under Civic Action Programme 2023-2024 organised two more Badminton Tournaments for girls at Govt. Degree College Pampore and Govt. Degree College Tral.
08 teams each from Sub Division Awantipora and Sub Division Tral participated in this tournament. SSP Awantipora Shri Ajaz hmed Zargar-JKPS while interacting with the players at tral expressed that J&K Police is on fore front in organizing various sports events as it brings positive energy in the youth & competitive spirit, good health and keeps the individual away from the negative forces and transform/mould the sports persons in the right direction. He further stated that more such sports activities shall be organized in the Police District Awantipora in future.
At the conclusion of the tournaments, the winner teams were felicitated with Trophies, Medals, Certificates and cash prizes besides, participating certificates were presented to all the participants.
On the occasion in Tral ADC Tral, Principal Govt. Degree College Tral, SDPO Tral & other officers were also present.
