In continuation of its ongoing drive against illegal mining, Police Awantipora have intensified efforts to combat illegal mining activities in the Police district Awantipora and has seized 05 vehicles used in illegal excavation and transportation of minerals in Bujbag Pampore.
Acting tough against the persons involved in illegal extraction and transportation of minerals, Police party of Police Station Pampore under the supervision of SHO PS Pampore Inspector Naieem Rashid seized five tippers bearing registration numbers
JK04A-9994,JK03B-836,JK13B-3161,JK03b-8987 & one with registration number.
Accordingly, case FIR NOs 54/2025 under relevant sections of law has been registered in Police Station Pampore and further investigation has been initiated.
Community members are requested to come forward with any information regarding illegal mineral-related activities in their neighbourhood.
