Bandipora encounter ends, 1 terrorist killed, M4 rifle recovered

Bandipora : Encounter in Ketsen area of Bandipora district concluded on Wednesday with the killing of a terrorist and recovery of M4 rifle from the gunfight site, officials said.

An official told news agency that encounter broke out in the area last evening during which two security personnel were also injured.

He said that in the ensuing encounter one terrorist was also killed, while a M4 rifle was also recovered from the slain terrorist.

“The operation has concluded, while identification of the terrorist is being ascertained,” he said—(KNO)
