Bharat Express News Network has announced the appointment of young journalist Yana Mir from Jammu and Kashmir as senior anchor. In this role, Yana Mir will cover news and current affairs from Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh, as well as key national events.
Before ‘Bharat Express’, Yana Mir was the bureau head of ‘ITV Kashmir’ in Srinagar. Apart from this, she has also served as the editor of ‘The Real Kashmir’ and ‘TRK News’.
Yana Mir is also known as the first YouTube blogger of Kashmir. She has been bringing the situation of Kashmiri women and youth to the public through her Ground Zero reports. Not only this, she has also been actively advocating for the displaced Kashmiri Pandits.
