Today, BJP leader Arshad Bhat met with a delegation of distressed and victimized students from Hayat Paramedical Institute, Lethpora, Awantipora. These students are being unjustly denied their rightful academic certificates, putting their careers and future at serious risk.
The students narrated how they were deceived by the administration, and how—shockingly—two new batches have been admitted illegally without proper approval from the relevant competent authority. Despite their relentless efforts, including visits to the office of the Deputy Commissioner of Pulwama, they have yet to receive justice. They are hopeful for the intervention of Dr. Basharat Qayoom Sb (DM Pulwama).
The root of their hardship appears to lie in an internal partnership conflict between the two Managing Directors of the institute. Unfortunately, the students have become collateral damage in this ongoing dispute.
Arshad Bhat discussed the matter with the Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Pulwama, who is currently looking into the issue. A formal request has been made for immediate action and resolution to protect the students’ academic future.
The case is now scheduled to be listed on 2nd June for early disposal in the presence of the affected students. BJP remains committed to safeguarding the interests and rights of students across the region.
