The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) J&K held a successful Chopal programme at Nigeen Hazratbal, Srinagar as part of its ongoing public outreach initiative aimed at strengthening the party’s connect with the grassroots and spreading awareness about the party’s ideology and vision.
The programme was held under the leadership of BJP National President Minority Morcha Jamwal Siddique, who was accompanied by Dr Aslam Khan National Executive Member, Navjot Singh Nalwa J&K UT Minority Morcha President, J&K Incharge Minority Sheikh Bashir, General Secretary Minority Morcha Bhat Imtiyaz, Spokesperson Hilal Jan, Harbinder Singh and others. A large number of people from nearby areas, party workers, and senior functionaries participated in the event, making it a grand success.
The Chopal, which focused on the theme “To visit villages and discuss party ideology with the people,” served as a platform to directly interact with citizens, understand their issues, and convey the BJP’s vision of inclusive development, good governance, and national unity.
In his address, Jamwal Siddique highlighted the importance of grassroots engagement and said that such programmes reflect BJP’s commitment to hearing the voice of the last person in the queue. He said Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s model of governance has given Jammu & Kashmir top priority in developmental initiatives.
Sheikh Bashir, while speaking on the occasion, reiterated the party’s dedication to uplift rural and urban communities alike and assured the people that the BJP will continue its outreach to ensure their concerns are addressed.
The BJP leadership expressed gratitude to the people of Srinagar for their warm response and active participation, and assured that the Chopal programmes will continue in various parts of J&K to build stronger bonds between the party and the people.
