The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) successfully organized an Eid Milan event at Bakiaker, Handwara, under the leadership of National Executive Member Ghulam Mohammad Mir. The gathering aimed to promote communal harmony, celebrate the spirit of Eid, and strengthen the party’s outreach in the region.
The event witnessed the participation of prominent BJP leaders, local dignitaries, and community members who came together to mark the occasion with warmth and camaraderie. Addressing the gathering, Ghulam Mohammad Mir emphasized the importance of unity and brotherhood, stating that festivals like Eid serve as a reminder of the shared values of peace, compassion, and inclusivity.
On this occasion, BJP Senior Leaders and Former District Presidents Javid Qureshi and Mohd Shafi Mir, along with other leaders, were present among hundreds of party workers. Their participation reflected the party’s strong presence and commitment to the region.
While interacting with the workers, Mir and Qureshi urged them to be alert and ready for the upcoming Panchayat and Municipal polls. They emphasized the significance of grassroots participation in strengthening democratic institutions and ensuring the welfare of the people.
Mir highlighted the BJP’s commitment to the development and welfare of the people of Jammu & Kashmir. He reiterated that the party remains dedicated to ensuring progress, stability, and economic upliftment in the region. He also extended his gratitude to the attendees for their enthusiastic participation and support.
The Eid Milan event concluded with a collective prayer for peace and prosperity, followed by a traditional feast that symbolized the spirit of sharing and togetherness. The BJP leadership reaffirmed its mission to work for the welfare of all communities and continue its engagement with the people of Jammu & Kashmir.
