Union Minister Jitendra Singh on Saturday said that Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will play a role of “good opposition” in the budget session of Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly slated to commence on March 3.
Dr Singh while talking to the reporters, here said, “We will play a good role of opposition in the assembly. For the first time we have come with such a big majority and our vote share is better, decisions will be taken in the interest of the people following our nationalist ideology and our MLAs are capable of presenting their issues with full preparation.”
Dr Singh said that numerous employment options have been created in the past 10 years but its benefits are not reaching Jammu and Kashmir completely as there is “no double engine system” here like Uttar Pradesh and Gujarat; “Our MLAs will also highlight this fact,” he added.
The J&K government will be held accountable for the work that is the responsibility of the UT government and which is not being implemented despite the support of the central government, Dr Singh said—(KNO)
