Sopore, Jan 30: In a shocking incident, burglars looted a Khidmat Centre in Tarzoo village of Sopore, North Kashmir’s Baramulla district, during broad daylight and decamped with ?1.80 lakh in cash a DSLR camera, etc.
According to (KNS), the incident took place on 24 January 2025 during Friday prayers when the burglars forcefully broke into the centre , also destroyed the CCTV cameras and looted 1,80,000 Rupees cash from the locker.
The owner of the centre, who was away for prayers, returned only to find the cash stolen.
Sources said that the victim has made efforts to collect CCTV footage from other locations, and it is believed that the thieves have been caught on camera.
Meanwhile, police have said they are ascertaining details regarding the incident. (KNS)
