In celebration of International Women’s Day, Indian Army along with Government Women’s Degree College, Kupwara organised a motivational cum awareness event to honour the achievements and contributions of women worldwide. This special day, observed on March 8th each year, serves as a powerful reminder of the ongoing fight for gender equality and women’s rights.

The theme for this year’s International Women’s Day “For All Women and Girls: Rights, Equality, Empowerment” , embodies the spirit of strength, resilience, and ambition that women display across various sectors. From leaders in business and politics to pioneers in science, technology, arts and culture womens’ impact is undeniable and deserves recognition.

The event was attended both by the civil and military dignitaries. The aim of the event was to foster a more supportive environment for women.
