The Kashmir Valley is experiencing a further drop in temperatures, with Pahalgam emerging as the coldest spot at minus 5.1 degrees Celsius. The sub-zero chill has enveloped all regions, making it a frosty morning for residents and visitors alike.

Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir, is recording a temperature of minus 1.3 degrees Celsius. Qazigund, the gateway to Kashmir, is not far behind, registering a low of minus 3.8 degrees Celsius.

The famous ski-resort of Gulmarg is also feeling the cold, with temperatures dropping to minus 2.8 degrees Celsius. Kupwara is at minus 1.0 degree Celsius, and in Kokernag, the mercury has settled at a chilly minus 3.6 degrees Celsius.

icy temperatures are impacting various parts of the valley. As winter takes a firm grip, residents and tourists are urged to take necessary precautions to stay warm and safe during this cold spell.
