Cluster Level Meeting Held at Cluster HSS Boniyar Boniyar

5th April 2025 (Saturday): An important meeting was convened in the Office Chambers of Mr. Showkat Ahmad Sheerwani, Principal and Cluster Head Govt. Higher Secondary School Boniyar. This assembly brought together the Headmasters of High Schools and PCOs of the cluster. The meeting was honored by the presence of the esteemed Zonal Education Officer Boniyar, Mr. Abdul Rehman Lone, Vice Principal HSS Boniyar, Mr. Shafiq Ahmad Sheikh, Senior Master Mr. Nazir Ahmad and Cluster Point Person, Mr. Mukhtar Ahmad Qureshi.
The meeting commenced with a warm welcome from Mr. Showkat Ahmad Sheerwani, who underscored the significance of unified efforts in advancing the educational standards of the cluster. He highlighted the necessity of leveraging collective resources and expertise to overcome challenges and enhance academic outcomes.

1.Optemistic Available Resources:
PCOs were advised to effectively manage academic activities by utilizing the resources currently at their disposal. This approach aims to ensure continuity and quality of education despite any limitations.
2. Addressing Staff Shortages:
A committee was established to deliberate on the issue of staff shortages within the cluster. The committee is tasked with identifying practical solutions to mitigate this challenge, ensuring that the educational needs of students are met adequately.
3. Academic Inspections:
PCOs were entrusted with the responsibility of conducting thorough inspections of the academic aspects within their jurisdictions. This initiative is designed to maintain and elevate the standard of education across the cluster.
4. Documentation Compliance:
All Institutional Heads were directed to prepare and maintain essential documents as recommended by the Directorate of School Education Kashmir. These include the Institutional Plan, Teacher Diaries, School Management and Development Committee records, and documentation pertaining to School Clubs.
5. Focus on Foundational Skills:
Emphasis was placed on strengthening foundational literacy and numeracy, particularly in Language and Mathematics. This focus aligns with the desired learning outcomes as outlined in the National Education Policy 2020 and the National Curriculum Framework 2023.
In his concluding remarks, Principal/Cluster Head Mr. Showkat Ahmad Sheerwani expressed heartfelt gratitude to all attendees for their active participation and commitment.
