Vibodh Gupta expressed his deep disappointment over derogatory language used by Rahul Gandhi and called for a public apology to the Prime Minister and the nation. “The use of terms like “Paunati” by Rahul Gandhi for the highest constitutional functionary in the country indicate signs of desperation and mental instability in him. His remarks were shameful, condemnable, and unacceptable and have hurt the sentiments of crores of Indians for which he should immediately tender an apology to the nation”, stated Adv. Vibodh Gupta. Adv. Vibodh Gupta asserted that the Congress lacks a coherent ideology, consistently resorting to anti-national statements. He contends that the party is now characterized by a single ideology – that of a traitor, one that opposes the interests of the country. He warned Rahul Gandhi and top Congress leaders to refrain from making such irresponsible statements or be ready to face the anger of crores of Indians.
