Cop injured in terrorist attack in Tangmarg

Just two days after a cop in Srinagar city was attacked by gumnen, a policeman was injured in a terrorist attack in north Kashmir’s Tangmarg area.

Sources told  that terrorists fired upon constable Ghulam Mohammad Dar near his residence in Tangmarg village this evening.

Sources said in the attach the cop was injured and was immediately taken to SDH Tangmarg for treatment.

Meanwhile, the whole area has been sealed by security forces to nab the attackers.

Pertinently, on Sunday, police officer Masoor Ahmad was fired and critically injured by militants in the Eidgah area of Srinagar. (KS)
