DC imposes ban on entry of heavy vehicles in Bandipora Market during daytime

Deputy Commissioner Bandipora Manzoor Ahmad Qadri (JKAS) on Wednesday imposed a ban on entry of heavy vehicles in the main market during the daytime.

In an order issued today, the Deputy Commissioner ordered that no heavy vehicle shall be allowed to ply through the main market Bandipora from Nusso to Nowpora from 8:00 AM to 06:00 PM.

The heavy vehicles shall instead take the Nusso route.

The Deputy Commissioner directed the Chief Executive Officer of Municipal Council Bandipora, Dysp Police Headquarters Bandipora, to ensure the implementation of the order in letter and spirit.

Any violation of this order by any person shall invite action under law reads the order. (KNS)
