KUPWARA : The District Election Officer (DEO), Kupwara, Ayushi Sudan today convened a meeting of Electoral Registration Officers (EROs) to review the status of voter registration in the district.
Addressing the meeting, the DEO urged upon the officers to work in tandem to ensure smooth conduct of the upcoming Lok Sabha Election in the district.
The DEO reviewed the status of inclusion and deletion of voters in electoral roll. She asked the concerned officers to submit the data of Armed Forces including Beacon operating in the district.
The DEO also took review of the availability of Assured Minimum Facilities (AMF) facilities at polling stations in the district.
Dy. DEO Kupwara, SDM Lolab, SDM Karnah, ACD, DIO and other concerned officers attended the meeting.
