The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Ms. Ayushi Sudan today paid a visit to Sub District Hospital, Kupwara and PHC Trehgam to take stock of the health care facilities being provided to the patients.
At SDH Kupwara, DC inspected various wards, held interaction with patients and enquired about the facilities being provided to them.
The DC was accompanied by Tehsildar Kupwara, Nayaz Ahmed Bhat and Medical Superintendent Mohd Shafi Mir.
While interacting with patients, Ms. Ayushi Sudan inquired about the timely availability of medicines and other essential services.
The DC issued specific instructions to the hospital administration to ensure that patients do not face any hardships, particularly with regard to heating arrangements during the winter months. She also directed the medical and paramedical staff to remain diligent and ensure round-the-clock availability of services to cater to the needs of the public.
During her visit to PHC Trehgam, the DC inspected the healthcare infrastructure and interacted with patients to gain insights into the center’s functioning, patient care, and available medical facilities.
While interacting with patients, Ms. Ayushi Sudan inquired about the timely availability of medicines and other essential services. She conducted a detailed inspection of the hospital wards and other sections, emphasizing the need for seamless delivery of healthcare services.
