DC Kupwara visits fire victims of Bus stand Kupwara, expresses her sympathies

KUPWARA : Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, Ms. Ayushi Sudan today paid a visit to the shopkeepers whose shops had gutted in an overnight fire incident in General Bus Stand Kupwara. She was accompanied by Tehsildar Kupwara and other concerned officers.

On the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner expressed sympathies with the affected shopkeepers and assured all possible support from the District Administration.
She urged the need for conduct of Fire Safety Audit of all shop establishments in the Kupwara town to minimize the risk of such incidents in the future. She also appealed the people to take proper care of their surroundings to avoid such unfortunate incidents.
