An unidentified dead body was found inside a 1000-litre water tank at a residential house in Khrew area of Pampore town on Thursday.
Sources told that the body was recovered from a water tank at the residence of Gh Nabi Shah, son of Gh Mohi Uddin, in New Colony, Khrew, Pampore.
Police have launched an investigation to ascertain the identity of the deceased and the circumstances surrounding the incident.
