A delegation of locals from Dardpora Lolab on Friday visited incumbent Deputy Commissioner Kupwara Ms. Ayushi Sudan to thank her and also asked her to convey their gratitude to Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha in the backdrop of sanction of Lolab-Bandipora road.
Expressing their jubilation regarding sanction of the much anticipated road, the delegation said that they had been demanding for sanction of the road for many years now. “It has been our fortune that we got to hear from LG during his recent visit to the district that the government has finally given its nod for construction of the road”, the delegation said.
“We thank you for your intervention regarding the matter”, the delegation members said while interacting with Ms. Ayushi Sudan.
“We at the same time ask you to kindly convey our due gratitude to Honorable LG Manoj Sinha for taking this long pending demand into consideration and sanctioning it thereof”, the delegation members asked DC.
Remarking the region’s rich potential for tourism falling along the road, the delegation members said that the project will prove pivotal to give a push to the virgin and unexplored beauty of areas including Nachni, Dum Galli, Nag Marg, Kimsar and Lashkote.
