DIG South Kashmir inaugurates new Police Post in Sangerwani, Pulwama

Srinagar — Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Police, South Kashmir Range Anantnag, Shri Javaid Iqbal Matoo-IPS accompanied by SSP Pulwama Ms. PD Nitya-IPS today inaugurated a newly established Police Post at Sangerwani village in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

The establishment of the Police Post aims to enhance security, strengthen law enforcement, and improve public outreach in the area. Speaking on the occasion, the DIG SKR reiterated the commitment of J&K Police to ensuring the safety and well-being of the people by bolstering security infrastructure and improving policing at the grassroots level.

SDM Lolab extends Eid Greetings.

Senior police officers, local dignitaries, and members of the civil society were present at the inaugural event. The locals welcomed the initiative, acknowledging it as a significant step towards better policing and maintaining law and order in the region.
