KUPWARA: In continuation of the ongoing “Vande Mataram” campaign, the District Information & Public Relations (DIPR), Kupwara in collaboration with the Police Department, today organized a series of Band and Cultural Performances featuring patriotic tunes across various markets of Kupwara Town.
The event aimed to instill a spirit of patriotism, unity, and national pride among the citizens, while also enhancing public participation in the ongoing campaign. The performances were held at prominent market locations including Public Park, General Bus Stand, Iqbal Market, Bypass Road, Old Chowk and Fountain Chowk, where the Police Band presented stirring renditions of national songs and patriotic melodies, drawing enthusiastic responses from traders, pedestrians, and local residents.
Local artists also showcased vibrant cultural performances that celebrated India’s rich heritage and diversity. The fusion of music and culture created an atmosphere of festivity and collective pride throughout the town.
The residents of Kupwara lauded the initiative and expressed gratitude for organizing such vibrant cultural activities that not only entertained but also inspired patriotic fervor among all age groups.
