Dog stuck inside a shop amid Indo-Pak hostilities rescued after 12 days in Mendhar

A dog which spent nearly 12 days trapped inside a shop following now-paused hostilities between India and Pakistan along the Line of Control in Poonch district has been freed by police, officials said on Wednesday.

They Said that the dog was stuck inside a shop near Dak Banglow Mendhar Poonch. As people head their homes, they found the dog stuck in the shop and subsequently informed police. Later a police team reached the spot and freed the dog. Locals hailed the swift action of the police in rescuing the dog.
