Dr. Javid Ahmad Lone (KPS) officially took charge as the new Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) of Lolab on Tuesday, succeeding Dr. Raies Ahmad Mir (KPS), who has been transferred to DSP CID Baramulla.
Upon his arrival at Police Station Sogam, Dr. Lone was warmly received by fellow officers and personnel, who presented him with flowers and bouquets as a token of welcome.
Assuming his new role, Dr. Lone held an introductory meeting, during which he outlined his vision for maintaining law and order while fostering a strong police-public relationship. He urged officers to uphold the highest standards of integrity, professionalism, and public service.
Emphasizing transparency and public trust, he directed police personnel to meet the expectations of the community with dedication and enthusiasm. He also reiterated the importance of friendly policing, corruption-free governance, and proactive engagement with the public.
Meanwhile, a heartfelt farewell ceremony was organized for outgoing SDPO Dr. Raies Ahmad Mir, acknowledging his commendable service and contributions to the region.
