Continuing its drive against the Drug peddlers Awantipora Police arrested one drug peddler from Gadikhal area of Police Post Toll Plaza.
During vehicle checking at naka point Gadikhal Chersoo , Police party of Police Post Toll Plaza under the supervision of IC PP Toll Plaza SI Ishfaq Ahmad apprehended 01drug peddler identified as Abdul Rashid KhanS/O Gh Mohd Khan R/O Poshwan
The arrested person was travelling in a scooty which was signaled to stop and during search 2kg 80 grams of Charas Powder like substance was recovered from his possession
Scooty used in the commission of the said crime has also been seized.
Case FIR Number 71/ 2025 under relevant sections of NDPS stands registered at Police Station Awantipora.
