Continuing its drive against the Drug peddlers and its propagators, Awantipora Police arrested one drug peddler from Awantipora area.
During naka Checking at Y Junction Barsoo Awantipora, Police party of Police Station Awantipora arrested 01 drug peddler identified as Aijaz Ahmad Sultan S/O Sonnullah Sultan R/o Wanihama –Payeen Hazratbal Srinagar
The arrested person was moving in a suspicious circumstances during search 18 grams of Charas like substance was recovered from the possession of the persons.
Case FIR Number 34/2024 under relevant sections of NDPS stands registered at Police Station Awantipora.
