Continuing its drive against the Drug peddlers and its propagators, Awantipora Police arrested one drug peddler from Awantipora area.
During naka Checking at Renzipora Crossing Awantipora, Police party of Police Post Reshipora headed by DO Reshipora arrested 01 drug peddler identified as Mushtaq Ahmad Dar S/o Mohammad Akbar Dar R/o Renzipora.
The arrested person was moving in a suspicious circumstances and during search 630 grams of Charas like substance was recovered from the possession of the persons.
Case FIR Number 36/2024 under section 8/20 NDPS Act stands registered at Police Station Awantipora.
