Continuing its efforts to eradicate the menace of drugs from the society, Awantipora police arrested one drug Peddler and recovered contraband substances from his possession.
During naka checking at Charligund area of Police Station Awantipora , police party under the supervision of SHO Police Station Awantipora Dy.SP(p) Shri Atif Zahoor arrested one Peddler. During search, officers were able to recover 4.40 grams of brown sugar like substance from his possession. The arrested persons has been identified as Faizan Farooq Allie S/O Farooq Ahmad Allie resident of Kadlabal Noorpora.
Accordingly, case FIR NO.152 /2025 under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Awantipora and further investigation has been initiated.
