Continuing its drive against the Drug peddlers and its propagators, Awantipora Police arrested three drug peddler from Pampore area.
During vehicular checking at naka point near EDI Pampore , Police party of Police Station Pampore headed by SHO Pampore Insp. khalid Fayaz under the supervision of SDPO Pampore arrested 03 drug peddlers identified as :
1) Shabir Ahmad Shah S/O Gh Rasool Shah R/o Tanchabagh Pampore
2) Imtiyaz Ahmad Sheikh S/O Aziz Sheikh R/o Namblabal Pampore
3) Haris Younis S/o Younis Saleem R/O Hawal.
The arrested persons were travelling in a vehicle ECO Sports which was signaled to stop and during through search 02 bottles of Codein was recovered from the possession of the persons boarding in the said vehicle.
Vehicle bearing registration number HR26CK-0579 used in the commission of the said crime has also been seized.
Case FIR Number 128/ 2024 under relevant sections of NDPS stands registered at Police Station Pampore.
