Awantipora : Continuing its efforts to eradicate the menace of drugs from the society, Awantipora Police have arrested 01 drug peddler at Galander Pampore and recovered psychotropic substances from his possession.
Police party of Police Station Pampore headed by SHO Pampore during naka checking at Gallander Crossing arrested one drug peddler identified as Zubair Shafi Wani S/o Mohammad Shafi Wani R/o Tulbagh Pampore. During checking, 101 bottles Corex Syrup were recovered from his possession.
Accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 30/2024 U/S 8/21 NDPS Act stands registered at Police Station Pampore.
Our consistent actions against drug peddlers should reassure the community members that we are making efforts to keep our society free from the scourge of drug menace.
