Continuing its efforts to eradicate the menace of drugs from the society, Awantipora police arrested drug Peddler and recovered contraband substances from his possession.
During naka checking in the area of Police Station Tral , police party of Police Station Tral apprehended drug Peddler. During search, officers were able to recover approximately 1000 grams of powdered Charras like substance from his possession.
The arrested person has been identified as:
1) Aqib Qadir Sofi S/o Ghulam Qadir Sofi resident of Gang Tral.
Accordingly, case FIR NO. 02/2025 under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Tral and further investigation has been initiated.
