In a tragic incident of its type, a young police officer, currently serving as DySP (Probationary), has died of a major cardiac arrest.
Identified as Aamir Amin Bhat, son of Mohammad Amin Bhat, a resident of Ujroo Langate, the officer was appointed to the post of DySP in 2024.
The sudden death of the young officer has sent shockwaves across the region, especially in native district Kupwara.
