Ex corporator Danish Bhat resigns from JKNC, blames Omar Abdullah of carrying over persistent dynastic political mindset in the party.
On social media platform X Danish posted “I am distancing myself from the National Conference. Although I initially anticipated positive change under Omar Abdullah, I’ve noticed the persistence of dynastic politics sidelining first-generation politicians like myself.
Furthermore, their approach appears power-centric, disregarding the genuine concerns of the people. I firmly believe it’s time for a change”.
The National Conference appears more akin to a closed corporation, showing favoritism towards the lazy and corrupt heirs of former ministers and MLAs over new, energetic faces.
As a contemporary politician, I believe in genuine contribution, but these lethargic heirs, despite their internal conflicts, unite to conspire against those striving for progress, creating a stifling environment.
The leadership backs these lazy heirs, as these indolent individuals unquestioningly follow a debauched king who still compliments young girls of the age of his granddaughters and a disinterested prince. Those with merit and opinions receive scant support.
It’s time to confront the dynastic hold for a more promising future.
My realization of their corruption didn’t come from hearsay; I witnessed firsthand how corrupt they truly are.
The broker of a prominent leader in National Conference, a youth leader who is also his son, has surpassed all limits of corruption. He sells his Corporators for exorbitant amounts, securing a Mayor from another party, with the party being a silent witness. He even trades his wards at a good price to the sons of leaders from different parties.
Despite these actions, this Eknath Shinde of Kashmir politics walks around as if untouched, seemingly saintly, thanks to the cover-up orchestrated by his influential father.
Young and educated individuals aspiring to make a meaningful contribution find no space in the National Conference, as the party’s sole emphasis appears to be sustaining dynastic leadership rather than providing authentic, merit-based leadership to the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
The party’s political landscape revolves around securing and perpetuating power within a select few families, neglecting the common people. It’s disheartening to see power dynamics taking precedence over the well-being of Jammu and Kashmir’s residents. This situation serves as a genuine wake-up call for the need for authentic leadership.
Embracing the responsibility to confront and dismantle the deeply rooted dynasties within the National Conference, we advocate for leadership grounded in merit and a genuine commitment to the people of Jammu and Kashmir, transcending dynastic entitlement. It’s time to usher in an era where leadership is earned through competence, ensuring a brighter future for the region.
The NC’s initial move, like forming the PAGD with PDP, was just an attempt to maintain power within two dynastic families. Later, realizing the potential to go solo, they distanced themselves from PAGD, revealing their true motives. This validates the warnings of those who cautioned against this opportunistic alliance, emphasizing the self-serving nature of their decisions over genuine concern for the people. It’s time to unveil the reality.
Disenchanted by the National Conference’s indifference to addressing genuine issues, it appears their priority is deceiving the public rather than making a meaningful impact. Although it may be startling for many readers, the reality is that behind closed doors at Nawa e Subh, the NC discusses a potential alliance with the BJP after assembly elections.
Their current actions align with this direction, as they go to great lengths to please the BJP. They refrain from filing a review petition in the Supreme Court against the decision on Article 370, and they are actively distancing themselves from PAGD, all in pursuit of a power deal with the BJP, seemingly unconcerned about the hardships faced by the common people.
My decision to challenge entrenched dynasties is not motivated by personal vendetta but by a commitment to a brighter future for Jammu and Kashmir. The people of Kashmir deserve more than corrupt and power-hungry dynasts accumulating wealth at the expense of innocent lives. Let’s free ourselves from the constraints of dynastic politics.
The Jihad against dynastic rule within the NC is a quest for authentic change. It’s time to eradicate the lethargic dynasts and provide a platform for those genuinely eager to contribute to the region’s progress.
Calling out National Conference’s power-centric moves and their betrayals. The people of Jammu and Kashmir deserve leaders focused on their welfare, not those driven by personal gains. It’s time for a paradigm shift. It’s time to give power back to the common people and take it away from these bloodsucking dynasts who luxuriate at the cost of the lives of the common people.
Standing firm in my belief that Jammu and Kashmir needs a leadership overhaul. It’s not just about leaving the National Conference; it’s about ushering in a new era of politics that prioritizes merit, genuine concerns, and progress for all.
Ending this journey marks the start of my mission to eradicate dynasts and their indolent, incompetent, and corrupt heirs.
