Handwara, 04 Jan 2025: The Cluster Banday Mohalla, under the Education Zone Handwara, organized a heartfelt farewell ceremony to honor several female teachers retiring from government service. Held at Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Handwara, the event celebrated the remarkable contributions of the retiring teachers to the education sector.
Zonal Education Officer (ZEO) Handwara, Shamus Ud Samoon, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, accompanied by ZEPO Handwara, Cluster Head Ab Majeed Dar, Cluster Nodel Officer and other dignitaries.
In his address, ZEO Samoon commended the retiring teachers for their unwavering dedication and commitment to shaping the lives of countless students. He emphasized their significant role in fostering academic excellence and personal growth within the community.
The event featured touching speeches, expressions of gratitude, and an acknowledgment of the teachers’ impactful careers. School staff, students, and local dignitaries attended to pay tribute to the retiring educators and their years of service.
