Farooq Ganderbali rejoins BJP after 20 years

There is a clear wave in favour of BJP in entire length and breadth of Kashmir, which is visible on ground as more and more people are

joining the party with each passing day. Even our old activists, who had left the party in the past, too are coming back.

Sh. Sat Sharma CA, President, Jammu and Kashmir BJP, said this while welcoming back Farooq Ganderbali, a prominent political and nationalist activist from Kashmir, into the party fold.

BJP General Secretary (Organisation) Sh. Ashok Koul, former Deputy Chief Minister Sh. Kavinder Gupta, party MLA Sh. Yudhvir Sethi and Sh. Arvind Gupta, Sh. Tilak Raj Gupta, NEM Smt. Priya Sethi, senior leaders Sh. Mushtaq Noorabadi and Sh. Avtar Krishan Bhat, also accompanied Sh. Sat Sharma, to welcome Gandebali.

Sh. Sat Sharma, on this occasion, said that Farooq Ganderbali had served BJP as BJYM Kashmir President from 1998 to 2003. Later, he contested the assembly election from Ganderbal in 2008 as independent candidate
against Omar Abdullah.

His rejoining BJP after 20 years marks a renewed wave of support for the party in Kashmir, which reaffirms his commitment to the party’s vision of development, stability, and peace in the region.

Sh. Sat Sharma further said that his return to BJP comes at a time when a large number of people in Kashmir are stepping forward to align with the party, signaling their trust in the leadership of Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi and the party’s policies for Jammu and Kashmir.

In other programmes, Sh. Sat Sharma, along with other leaders, felicitated a renowned dogra sculptor, Sh. Ravinder Singh Jamwal, who had prepared bust of Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhayay.

They also felicitated Prof. (Dr.) Kulbhushan Mohtra, BJP senior leader, for getting state award for his literary work.

Sh. Ashok Kumar, party vistarak, was also given a warm send off as he has been deputed to Andhra Pradesh to serve the organisation.

Prominent among those present on the occasion included Sh. Prem Gupta, Vidya Motan, Sh. Naresh Singh, Sh. Rajesh Gupta, Smt. Veenu Khanna, Sh. Balbir Ram Rattan, Sh. Rajinder Sharma, Smt. Purnima Sharma, Sh. Rakesh Mahajan, Smt. Rajni Sethi, Sh. Parmod Kapahi, Sh. Sanjay Baru, Sh. Praduman Singh, Sh. Sunil Prajapati, Sh. Brahmjot, Sh. Munish Khajuria, Smt. Neha Mahajan, Sh. Hans Raj Loria, Sh. Raveesh Mengi, Smt. Asha Gupta, Sh. Jaideep Sambyal, Sh. Ravinder Singh birpuria, Smt. Anu Gupta, Sh. Puneet Gupta, Sh. Paramjeet Pummi, Sh. Ankush Gupta, Sh. Jeet Angral, Sh. Sanjay Bakshi, and others.
