A forest department employee was allegedly apprehended red-handed while accepting bribe in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
As per reports that a CBI team carried out a surprise raid in the Watayan Chogal area during which an employee of Forest Department was caught red-handed while accepting a bribe in tune of rupees five thousand.
The CBI team led by Inspector Firdous Ahmad, subsequently apprehended the employee and handed him over to Police Post Chogal.
When contacted, DFO Kamraj Forest Division Anurag Arya responded in affirmative about the arrest of the employee. “We have received the reports about the arrest of the employee,” Arya said, adding, “Further details are being collected regarding the matter, and once the things get clear, we will communicate about it accordingly.”
