With deep sorrow, former Minister Usman Majid has expressed his condolences in light of the recent devastating incident where a boat capsized in the River Jhelum near Batwara, Srinagar. This tragic event resulted in the untimely loss of numerous lives, including innocent children.

In a statement shared on social media, former Minister Majid said, “Shattered by the devastating news of the boat capsizing tragedy in the River Jhelum near Batwara, #Srinagar. The loss of lives, especially those of innocent children, is an unspeakable sorrow. My deepest condolences to the grieving families.”
