Body of a former Village Defense Guard member was found in mysterious conditions in forests of Chapper area of Udhampur district on Tuesday.
Officials told that a deadbody of an disengaged VDG was found in mysterious conditions along with the rifle (303) in Chapper forests.
He has been identified as Ashok Kumar (45) son of Romal Chand resident of Chapper Udhampur.
Soon a team of police rushed to the spot and took the body in their possession for medico-legal formalities
A case has been registered in this regard and investigation has been taken up.(GNS)
